THE WEEKLY - AVAILABILITY REQUEST

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I am not a delivery service or caterer. All meals are prepared fresh 100% inside your kitchen. This ensures the highest food safety standards and allows me to customize flavors specifically for your palate on the spot. I leave your kitchen spotless and your fridge organized.

  • No. The Service Fee covers my labor, menu planning, travel, and insurance. Groceries are billed separately at exact receipt cost with no markup. This is transparent and allows you to choose your budget—whether you prefer standard organic produce or want to splurge on Wagyu beef and truffles for a special week.

  • Not at all. In fact, 90% of my clients in Cherry Hills and Englewood are at work or out while I cook. I access the home via a secure lockbox, gate code, or house manager. You simply come home to the smell of a clean kitchen and a stocked fridge.

  • As a dad of two, I specialize in the "Deconstructed Meal" strategy. For example, if I make a Thai Curry, the adults get the full spicy version, while the kids get the mild components (seared chicken, plain rice, snap peas) separated in their own Bento boxes. Same meal, zero fights.

  • Yes. Managing dietary restrictions is a core part of my service. Since I cook in your home, I have complete control over the ingredients. However, please note that because I am cooking in a residential kitchen where allergens may have previously been present, I cannot guarantee a 100% sterile environment for severe anaphylactic allergies.

  • I love bringing international & local flavors to your table, but I always start with your preferences. I send you a proposed menu for the week. You can approve it, request swaps, or ask for simple comfort classics. You are always in control.

  • To ensure freshness and easy reheating, I require clients to have a standard set of storage containers (such as Pyrex or Snapware). Glass goes straight from the fridge to the oven (375°F) without re-plating. If you don't have these, I can purchase a set for you during my first shop or you can choose a container of your choice.

  • I require 72 hours' notice for cancellations. Because I reserve your specific day exclusively for you and turn away other business, cancellations made within 72 hours are charged the full Service Fee. If I can reschedule you within the same week, I will do my best to accommodate.

  • I am not a licensed liquor retailer or server, so I do not sell or serve alcohol. However, you are welcome to provide your own wine or spirits.

  • Depending on the service a size anywhere from 4-6 hours before service and 1 hour at most after final course.

  • My primary service area includes Englewood, Cherry Hills Village, Greenwood Village, and Littleton. I do serve surrounding areas (Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, South Denver) but may charge a modest travel fee depending on the distance.

  • I bring my own "Chef Kit" (knives, specialty tools). I rely on your major appliances (stove, oven, fridge) and basic pots/pans. Upon our first consultation, I will do a quick inventory and let you know if any essential equipment (like a roasting pan or blender) is missing.

  • Yes, The Jones Table (Jones & Co. Ventures LLC) carries full General Liability Insurance suitable for in-home private chefs.

  • It starts with a simple form. If I have a slot open on your preferred day and service, from a quick phone consultation to discuss your family's palate. I will get you on the schedule!

Fill out the below form and Chef Jones will get back to you as soon as possible.
